Fiscal Intelligence

Today, I met Angelo, whose story reminded me of the importance of thinking on your feet. Many years ago, Angelo was a college student. When he was at the bank one time, he noticed that the bank was giving 12% interest on deposited money. But at the same time, the bank was charging only 7% interest on student loans. Angelo took a student loan and deposited this money in his personal account while pocketing the difference. He wasn't an accounting major, yet he had the street smarts to take advantage of this opportunity. It's a lesson to all of us to both be fiscally smart while also taking advantage of the opportunities that all of us get in life!
